The Plan-IQ Blackbox is a special version that can be called from other software. The calling program just needs to write a Plan-IQ import file in a pre-specified layout, and Plan-IQ will read that file, run its optimizer, and write the results into an output file. The calling software can then pick up that output file for further processing.

This setup is very simple to implement, and allows to add semi-integrated cutting optimization to your existing systems.
